This weekend, April 12 and 13, the Circuito Guanacasteco de Surf will host their 5th event at the Tamarindo Estuary presented by Aqua and That\u2019s Amore. Categories are available to men and women of all ages and the competition will showcase some of Guanacaste\u2019s top surfers in the area. Since this upcoming event is basically held in our own front yard, we at Witch\u2019s Rock Surf Camp couldn\u2019t resist but to be a bigger part of the action.
\nUnlike all previous stops in the circuit, this event will feature a 30-45 min Witch\u2019s Rock Air Show where top aerialist will boost their best air for a 1st place cash prize! There are 12 spots available for this heat which promises to be a highlight of the event. And with a fun-sized south swell expected to fill in over the weekend, we could be in for a high-flying spectacle.
\nAs usual, Witch\u2019s will be sponsoring our star-instructor, Isaac Vega, who is currently sitting at number 2 in the overall circuit rankings. With a strong finish in this event, Isaac could be looking to defend his top position going into the final contest at Playa Negra in a few weeks. We wish him all the luck and can\u2019t wait to watch his incredible surfing.
\nOur Tamarindo community pulses around the surfing culture, and with a premier contest located right in the heart of town, we can expect an absolutely killer event (and Airshow!). \u00a0So if you are in the Guanacaste area and would like to be a part of the action, sign up is this Thursday from 5-7 pm at Witch\u2019s Rock Surf Camp or come out Saturday & Sunday to spectate.
