1. Sunset Sailing<\/strong><\/p>\n

Skip the booze cruise catamarans and charter a smaller more intimate boat tour. Head to Flamingo Marina and climb aboard a beautiful 50-foot sailboat to explore the waters of Guanacaste. Snorkel, fish, or just take in the views as you sail across the turquoise blue Pacific Ocean.<\/p>\n

2. Snorkel\/Dive at Catalina Island<\/b><\/p>\n

You\u2019ve already spent countless hours on top of the water catching waves, why not check out whats under the surface? Some of the best diving in all of Costa Rica lies just off the coast of Northern Guanacaste in the Catalina Islands. Or, take a moderate 3-hour hike through the jungle and keep an eye out for monkeys along the way. The park is full of waterfalls, natural hot springs, geothermal pools, and of course trails leading to the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano. The climb to the top of Volcan Von Seebach and Rincon de la Vieja is a steep and challenging journey, but well worth the effort.<\/p>\n

4. Rio Celeste & Llanos de Cortes Waterfalls<\/b><\/p>\n

Nothing says paradise quite like a dip in the pool below a tropical waterfall. Lucky for you, there\u2019s a pair of amazing waterfalls just a stones throw from Tamarindo. Tours to the falls can be arranged from Tamarindo. Visiting the waterfall at Rio Celeste requires a 2 hour moderately difficult hike, but the prize of a cool dip with breathtaking views makes it feel like a short stroll.<\/p>\n
