Bruce shot tons of film, edited it, and released the surf classic <em>The Endless Summer<\/em> later the next year. The rest is history.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">But how did this all come together? What was it like to travel to remote Africa? What was the scariest thing that happened? What advice can be given to others looking to embark on their own journey?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Looking for answers, I sat down with Robert August and interviewed him for my new podcast <a class=\"links\" style=\"text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/podcasters.spotify.com\/pod\/show\/getoutandsurf\/episodes\/Making-The-Movie-The-Endless-Summer-with-Robert-August---Episode-4-e31g7d\/a-a9d2hu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Get Out and SURF<\/a>.
