\"\" Nameless rider at the famed Ollie’s Pt. <\/span><\/dt>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n

 <\/p>\n

-Ollie’s Point-<\/p>\n

A pointed swell in my direction
\nHere comes a wave, no time to reflect
\nOne paddle. Two Paddle. Three Paddle. Drop.
\nMy mind is blank; I’m not my feet
\nA moving mountain, far from the peak<\/p>\n

I see the line emerge before me:
\nAn Oasis admits a desert trek
\nThe walls come quickly, crashing closer
\nI duck my head and bend my neck<\/p>\n

An oceanic eclipse blocks out the sun
\n‘Yahoo’ echoes through the forest:
\nMy playful dance is done<\/p>\n

As I beach, board in hand
\nMerely a child and father searching, surfing
\nLiving life amidst the sand<\/p>\n
